Sea World and San Antonio

A couple of weekends ago we made the two hour trip to San Antonio.  We got up early and spent most of the

morning and early afternoon at Sea World.

Isla's FAVORITE Sesame Street character.

Unfortunately she didn't feel the same way about the ride - "The walk of shame OFF the ride"...

Isla and Holden were not as impressed by the Shamu Show as Mom and Dad.

Isla was much more into this fish.

They have a splash pad in Sesame Streets Bay of Play and we spent some time there letting Isla run around.

It took a second to get used to the water though as it was a pretty windy day!

Meeting some more friends.

The Sesame Street Show may have been the highlight of Isla's LIFE up to this point.  She could have stayed there

forever.  She danced, she sang, she had a ball!

Feeding the dolphins was so much fun!  You were even allowed to pet them.  Isla had no fear feeding the dolphins

or holding the little fishes.

Isla still has not put this picture down.  She takes it everywhere with her.  She even sleeps with it.  BEST DAY

EVER.

After Sea World we stopped and had some BBQ for lunch.  Holden loved the brisket.  In Texas everyone eats BBQ.

We had dinner at a Tex Mex place downtown on the River Walk.  The food, atmosphere and company were all

great.

We stayed at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort and Spa, and will definitely be going back and staying longer to take

advantage of all the amenities they offer.  We woke up and played in the lazy river after breakfast, but missed out

on smores and movies on the lawn because we just couldn't fit it all in.

Mommy and Daddy were especially tired the next morning because Isla woke up at 3am ready to play...and sing,

and talk, and of course stare at her "dabby picture" (see above).

All in all it was a fantastic family trip, and we can't wait to go back!
