My Plant

According to my husband, I am NOTORIOUS for killing all kinds of plants.  He believes that I am not physically capable of keeping anything green alive, or at least not green for very long.

I have set out on a mission to prove him wrong.  This is my plant: "The Green Giant".  Since I am extremely behind on our blog posts, I have now had this plant for almost two months, and I am pretty sure I am winning this argument.  Not only is The Green Giant alive, he is thriving.  These days he seems taller, and possibly even greener.  

Keeping The Green Giant alive is even more of an accomplishment, since Isla has taken to "helping" around the house, and among other "helpful" things, I constantly find her watering my plant.  I now have to take this overwatering into account and dial down my efforts.  Holden has also started to cruise around, and is very close to using the plant to pull up onto, endangering The Green Giants overall stability.  Despite these hurdles, I believe The Green Giant is here to stay, and has become a full-time member of the Fife family...  check back in a few weeks!
