Cheer-2015
I will preface this post by saying that Isla has never been super enthusiastic about any extra-curricular activity. Actually, let me rephrase that. She's extremely excited about, and wants me to sign her up for everything.
From karate to whatever that olympic sport with the gymnasts and a ball that they dance and do elaborate routines with, Isla wants to do it. This enthusiasm typically peeters out mid season, or in the case of soccer, halfway through the first game.
Cheer has been different.
While there are definitely days that she is a little tired, and not as attentive at practice, she LOVES cheer and her sweet squad. This is even more impressive knowing that practice is twice a week culminating with a game that lasts over two hours every Saturday.
The Rookie Giants (last years defending-undefeated champion) are right on schedule to defend their Turf Bowl Championship this year, and the girls could not be more excited and more supportive for their team. The Cheer Dads are pretty pumped as well...
