New Years Eve

We've been ringing in the New Year at our friends The Steven's for a while now.  Its typically been an adults only party, but as the kids have gotten older they've started asking if they could celebrate with us. This year we decided Isla was old enough to stay up and brought her to their house with us and got a sitter for Holden.

Luckily, their house is just down the street so we didn't have to worry about finding transportation on such a busy evening.

It was nice to have the kids there  - they were all so excited.  Unfortunately, I think it may have been just a little too much fun and sugar for Isla.  She got sick and ultimately spent the first night of 2017 in Mom and Dads bed.
