Astros Run for the Pennant 2018
As you may recall the Astros won the pennant in 2017. It was the same season that Harvey hit Houston and the Astros seemed to be destined to pick the city up on their backs and win it all…It was an exciting season, a way for these Houston transplants to rally behind a team and make them their team. Ever since, we’ve been huge Astros fans, and couldn’t wait to possibly repeat the magic of that amazing season.

Going into the playoffs, everything looked to be going our way. The Astros were hot. Possibly a better team than the one that won it all the year before. Our hopes were high for a championship repeat.
The Astros made the playoffs and defeated the Cleveland Indians in 3 games in the ALDS. Our friends Michelle and Carlos flew down with their family to attend the League Championship series where we took on the Red Sox (the eventual pennant winners). Jordan was lucky enough to get some tickets from work and we got to attend our first post-season baseball game.
It was an awesome experience, and although the outcome was tough to take I’m glad I got to say I was there.
Side note - Astros are currently in Spring Season and lookin’ good! Let’s go ‘Stros!!!
