Valentines Day // Watch Dogs// Lake Travis
This years Valentines Day promised to be even sweeter than usual. One of the kids favorite school days; “Watch Dog Day” was the same day as Valentines Day. Watch Dogs is an amazing program where Dad’s come in and spend the whole day at their kids school. They help out with a bunch of activities and events both day to day involving the kids and behind the scenes. It’s a great way to get the Dad’s involved and show the kids how much they really care.

Needless to say, it’s always a great time when a Watch Dog is around.
Being the Watch Dog on a holiday is even extra special. You get to attend all the parties and enjoy the festivities planned for that particular holiday.
As a photographer for the school yearbook I basically get to come and go as I please, which allows me to capture fun moments like these between Isla and her friends.
Holden certainly wasn’t left out of any activities, and while parents weren’t invited to his Friendship Party this year, Jordan and I were allowed to go because of our respective Watch Dog and Photographer status… Sometimes volunteering has it’s perks ;).
We spent the weekend up at the lake with great weather and some kayaking.
