Halloween 2020
Along with most things this year Halloween looked a little different due to Covid.
Instead of our annual party with all of our friends we pared it down to a spooky dinner party and invited a medium to read tarot cards. As much as I love our annual party with the creative costumes and a chance to catch up with people we don’t get to see as frequently, this was a nice change of pace and I really enjoyed getting to spend more time with a smaller number of friends.
Our kids may be over taking photos in a pumpkin patch, but Dolly’s just getting started!
Trick or Treat has never been Holden’s thing. He’s not a fan of dressing up and he doesn’t want to just walk around, he wants to go into all our neighbors homes and raid their pantries. So this year we just gave him some candy instead and Isla walked around with some friends while we sat on the driveway and had a few drinks with the Dowds.
It was quite the “2020 Halloween” with political signs and masks making it into the treasure haul.
It was a good season, different but good in these new seasons of life…
