Fall Weekend
Well, sorta... I tend to stuff a TON of holiday related activities onto our calendar around this time of year. I'm not sure if it's because I love the season so much, or that I feel I need to push the festiveness of it all because it still feels like Summer here. Whatever it is, we got started this weekend with a visit to the Pumpkin Patch. Isla had a great time and now refers to all pumpkins as "pumpkin patch". She also pitched a huge fit when we told her it was time to leave. Holden of course was totally affable as usual. Whatever the moods, we still had a great time in our high 80 degree Fall temperatures.
Upcoming we still have a Halloween Party at The Little Gym, The Children's Museum and Playgroup, as well as Trick or Treat and a trip to Dewberry Farms. Like I said, I tend to over schedule us a bit for these Holidays.
Later this weekend we took Isla to her dance class where she lit up the stage as usual. I love watching her dance. She moves with the attitude of someone who doesn't care who is watching... and she looks SO happy doing it. She may not be the best dancer out there, but she is always the kid having the most fun.
We capped off the weekend with a trip to the park. It was only in the mid 80's and there was a cool breeze, so we knew we should get outside and enjoy ourselves while we could.
Autumn has fallen in Katy Texas.
