Isla's First Sleepover
Isla had her first sleepover this weekend with her friend Nash. Our friends Wes and Lyndsay were going to San Antonio Saturday night, and we were glad that we were able to help out and watch Nash while they were there. Isla was beyond excited, and over the weekend made a new best friend.
They ate together, ran around the house screaming together, read books together and became inseparable for the surprisingly easy 24+ hours that Nash was here. He was the little brother that I know Isla hopes Holden will grow into. With an older sister as rough and tumble as Isla is, I am sure Holden will be just as rambunctious and lovable as little Nash.
This little sweetie is welcome back whenever his parents will let us have him!
This is how we put kids to sleep in our house...
Nash didn't cry once that day... until we told him that he couldn't sleep with Isla after we read them nighttime stories. He quickly got over it though :)
Isla was really sad to see Nash go. I'm not sure how Holden felt about it... That's a common expression with him.
